Olympus Cameras go Kinetic
The Kinetic office chair has been supplied to Olympus since it was first launched on our web site three years ago. These chairs features independent seat tilt, and pump up lumbar support as standard. A management size seat and back adds to the comfort of this office chair Height adjustable arms have a drop down facility. This is very useful when the chair is likely to have a number of users over its lifetime. In fact, this is almost certainly always the case since you should really hope to get more than 5 years out of your office chair in a medium use environment. The arms on the Kinetic office chair can be dropped out of the way to enable the user to seat closer to the desk and also allow the chairs to be easily rolled under the desk top which is useful when cleaning the office. The Kinetic office chair is manufactured in the UK and is available in a comprehensive range of fabrics, genuine or man made leather on a 10 day lead time. These office chairs are delivered assembled and ready to use,. An adjustable headrest is also available as a useful accessory.

New office furniture for ICI Data

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Office furniture for ICI Data
In order to bring power and data from the perimeter of the office are to the desk top Office reality designed a solution using 120 degree pentagon shapes allowing cables to pass through the under desk cable management trays. Desk height pedestals and cupboards placed alongside the desks had over sailing tops at the rear to allow the passage of cables behind. This solution avoided the use of power poles which would have been expensive and broken the open feel of the space. Allure acrylic desk top screens were selected in wave shape form which allowed light through and landscaped the office. Tall matching sideways opening tambour cupboards were placed around the walls with a variety of internal fitments. Black leather Banton chairs were chosen as general office chairs. An Edison boardroom table was the preferred option with Eames style cantilever chairs. This project was completed over a two day period

No passport required

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Office reality has just completed a 30 workstation office furniture project for the Department of Geographical Studies at the Unversity of Aberystwyth. After careful consderation our client opted for Kompass corner workstations mesuring 1800mm x 1600mm with I frame legs. This enabled the desk tops to be scribed around pillars without being affected by the position of the legs or under frame. Desk tops in 30mm grey lamainate and under desk pedestals with blue fronts gave an additional splash of colour. Our client has a substantial storage requirent and we supplied 2200mm high sideways tambour cupboards in grey laminate to match the desks with four filing frames in each storage cupboard. These were ganged together to improve stability. The ever popular Enjoy chair was specified with headrest. Under desk power modules were postiioned on the beam of the desks and on desk cable management was provided by affinity modules with Cat 6 power and data. A small waiting area was created with Decimo and Avanti  soft seating with a Isamu Nogachi coffee table. One executive office had metal shelving from the Bejola range

Office screens were supplied from the Pratiko range with lower section in blue to match the drawers fronts and polycabonate on the upper section to allow the passage of light. This project was complted over a two day period and our client was very happy with the quality of the products and workmanship
