Andreu World office and contract seating

Andreu World are a Spanish manufacturer of office chairs and contract seating, founded by a 17 year old cabinet maker in 1955 Francisco Andreu who rebuilt his factory where he lived after taking over his fathers business. Early production was based around beech wood chairs and the Company was responsible for the whole production process By the early 60’s Andre had opened its 3rd factory of 200 square metres and then onto a new saw mill in Navarre to supply their factory in Valencia. I the 1970’s the Company was rebranded Andreu World to reflect the increasing focus on design and the expanding range of seating products. This then lead to a growth of exports and an increase in international reputation. Today the company produces meeting tables, bistro chairs, conference and dining tables through a range of distributors throughout the world and regularly exhibit at the Milan furniture fair and Neocon on Chicago

The new Office chair by Knoll was released at NeoCom the US office furniture fair last week . Knoll have worked with designers at Formway design since 2005 on this revolutionary office chair. It is designed to support almost every conceivable sitting angle. The back is composed of Elastomer a rubber derivative which is lighter than the usual materials used for office chairs. The chair is also relatively shorter than most chairs with the back reaching only halfway up the users back. THis office chair also offers all te usual features such as adjustable arms and adjustable lumbar support.Knoll believe that this is the biggest breakthrough since Herman Miller launched the Aeron office chair, over fifteen years ago. Early reviews indicate that while this chair takes a while to get used to, it does offer much moiré freedom for those who are constantly changing their sitting position. In other words most of us.

Top Rax office shelving is now available within the office storage line. There are two options the standard Top Rax shelving is 2000mm high and 900m wide and is available in two depth options   328mm and 478mm This shelving is suitable for commercial and industrial use with a maximum loading of 160khs. The shelves are adjustable by 50mm. Top Rax is bolt free and is very easily assembled without the need for any tools. Top Rax long span shelving is available in 1800mm widths and is suitable for the storage of extra large items, in addition the long span shelving can be supplied with either chipboard shelves or galvanised steel shelves. RTS Office screens

Radius top office screens consist of a tubular steel frame on which the infill panel is mounted. The structure is robust and rigid and allows for the use of many different options of material to form the infill panel. As standard upholstered panels, perforated steel, wood laminate and acrylic panels are offered as standard items. However there are fantastic opportunities to use alternative panels such wall coverings, whiteboards, and display boards due to the inherent strength of the frame. The acrylic option is very popular with high areas and reception schemes and the acrylic is offered as standard in clear, bronze and grey. Standard epc colours on the steel frame are Light Grey, Dark Grey, Brown, Black, Silver, Dark Blue, Burgundy or Green. Linking is available with 2 way, 3 way and 4 way options and stabiliser feet are prices as a separate option. These products are manufactured in the UK on a lead time of 3-4 weeks. TNK conference chairs

Another Italian furniture Company based in the Udine area is Frag, who specialise in leather upholstery for conference chairs, reception chairs and executive chairs. The Company has had a long tradition in this field since they were founded buy Giovanni Frag in 1929.The Company works with a number of established designers including Francesco Rota who designed the Tartan conference chair with a shell formed from woven leather lace. Also Gordon Guillaumier who has designed the Comino chair with a back and seat consisting of leather straps. Frag products have been used by the Hilton Hotel group across the world as well as in Bloomindales New York and in many offices throughout Europe.
