The Receptive Desk at The Special Yoga Centre @ NW1

The Special Yoga Centre is a charitable organisation offering yoga to all walks of life without regard to social status, religion, financial, physical ability or ethnical background. This  charity is the home for The Yoga for the Special Child programme LLB, a programme that supports children with range of conditions, including cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, autism, epilepsy, ADD and ADHD, and other physical and developmental difficulties.

The Special Yoga Centre approached Office Reality as they needed to update and improve their existing reception desk. We acknowledged the fact that they were doing some fantastic work and decided to  donate a  Receptive Reception Desk which consisted of a 800mm Straight section with counter top and a 90 degree DDA section in Maple with a silver kick plate. The desk was well received by all the people who work at the centre and all the visitors alike.

Another reception desk added to section 1 of the reception desk line is a new range called Azurro. This is a modular range held in stock in Europe for a 7 -10 delivery. The three finishes available are white oak, dark oak and amber cherry. Glass counter tops are made from 12mm toughened glass and the integral desktops are 25mm thick. The intermediate support leg which supports two intermediate desk tops is recessed to ensure free movement between adjoining desk tops. The range also has desk high module with an extended front edge to assist wheelchair users. The high counter units also feature two distinctive chrome strips to add further interest. Cover reception desks feature and angular main counter section finished in white, anthracite, maple or beech. Glass counter tops in clear frosted glass are standard. The main counter unit is also equipped with six storage shelves on the user’s side The counter modules stand independently to the desks allowing for meet and greet and integrated storage options within the reception desk. Washington executive office furniture features glass top desks and desk returns mounted on the wooden surface with metal pillars in a epc silver finish. The space between the wooden and glass surface is sufficient to hold stationery, documents and lever arch files. Among the many Desk Top and Freestanding Screens we offer of all shapes and sizes we can also offer our customers a curved screen. These can often soften the look of a row of screens in a straight line and can encourage people to walk in and around certain areas. The panels are 35mm thick and have trims in PVC light grey, dark grey, silver or wood. Metra Office is a slick contemorary office program designed by Roberto Danesi commissioned by Metra Office. It is a range which has been predominantly designed for the executive who will use the program to enhance his or her work as the finishesare varied and configurations savvy and unique. The frame of either the desk or beam is epoxy – polyester powder coated in two colours silver and white. If your floor is slightly uneven then the steel leveling screw in side the feet will even things up. The desk tops finishes are oak in Mahogany finish rovere moro T36 (wenge) or white bianco T01 and the glass finish has been carefully selected ruby red, white, or moka.
