Our new range of desk top office screens are more environmentally friendly and are constructed from Flax board which is a by product of cotton waste. Flaxboard consists of the bark of the Flax plant. Flaxboard also have excellent surface properies that allow the fabric of the screen to bond better than before. The screens are 25mm thick and are pinnable as standard. We are offering these screens with a silver PVC trim as standard to protect the edges from a wear. 25mm desk clamps are provided which fit most desk surfaced although these is also a range of other desk clamps to suit most applications. As part of our new Healthcare seating range we are showcasing the Exton range of chairs. Suitable for hospital and general surgeries, nursing or retirement homes and similar applications. The chairs consist of a solid beech wood frame with joints that are motise and tenon connected for additional strength and stability. The chair frames are also coated in an anti bacterial lacquer.  The Exton range comes as a high back and extra high back. The high back can also have “wings”  for added comfort. For a small additional charge we are also offering the option of pressure relief foam. Suitable for patients who are undergoing the healing process in sensitive areas. Exton chairs can be upholsotered in the range of Intervene waterproof fabrics which are resistant to bacteria, MRSI and urine. There is also a chair with heavy duty height adjustable arms to allow safe entry and exit from the chair

Office Reality have supplied many clients with new reception desks and seating areas. One range which has proved popular and looks contemporary is the Edison Reception Desk which is manufactured by our long standing Italian suppliers Della Rovere. The components are simple but the configurations are endless; there are two internal curved sections one at 45 degree and the other 60 degree both external and internal. Straight sections consist of a 900mm section only both low (DDA compliant) or high counter with glass counter top. The finishes consist of Walnut, Maple, White, Mahogany, Wenge and Silver. There are also great matching Edison storage combinations for the Edison range which compliments the desk. The lead time for this item is usually 4 weeks.

The Studio Boardroom table or Central Table is in ideal table for those who wish to seek out a modern design whilst keeping to a budget. The central table comes in various different sizes starting off as a one piece top at 1800mm then increasing to a 2200mm. It then becomes a two piece top at 3200mm another neat idea that Actiu thought of is the extension top which when added to the middle creates a 4400mm table this can be added again up to 6800mm. As a genral rule thumb the seating requirements are as follows.

1800mm - 4 people / 2200mm - 8 people / 3200mm - 10 people / 5600mm - 18 people

Ahrend Group
The Ahrend group of Companies began in 1896 whenn Jacobus Ahend opened a stationery shop in Amsterdam and expended the products lines to include wooden office furniture and later metal office furniture. A close collaboration with HJvd Kamp (APS) 
who manufactured sheet steel furniture in a small village Sint-Oedenrode near  Eindhoven whose most notable client was the nearby Phillips Corporation. In 1960 they formed a joint Company. A few years later APZ a steel tubing manufacturer joined the group  APZ were principally known for the production of office chairs using steel tubing and had won a large contract for the US Army. In 1967 these three Companies became wahat is now known as the Ahrend Group BV manufacturing system office furniture, office chairs and seating and metal storage cupboards and filing cabinets. 
In the year of its centenary in 1996 the Ahrend Group was given permission to use the term “Koninkliik” or Royal in its name.
Ahrend have continued to expand across Europe with offices in Great Britain, Belgium and Luxembourg. In the US Ahrend is represented by All Steel Inc. Notable office furniture ranges include Mehes which was designed in 1971 which saw the first use of ulta thin (12mm) tops. Luna reception desk
This range is available with either wood finish fronts or in Methacrylate fronts, either option is stunning and fantastic value for money. Fronts are available in white, dark oak, light oak. Desk tops are 25mm thick with ABS protection. This is a modular system with six shapes available 1000mm and 1600mm straight , and internal and external 60 degree module and an internal and external 90 degree module.
Glass counter tops are supported by specially shaped metal brackets finished in epc aluminium. The reception fronts are decorated with 3 PVC strips also Aluminium colour. The strips are at intervals of 257mm.  Cable management to the reception desk is provided by an optional metal tray. The side panels are in 25mm MFC finished in Aluminium . Uniquely this range also has a tambour cupboard which can act as a replacement to a desk and support the front panel.
The methacrylate reception desk option is available with fronts in four colours, white, smoky grey, blue and green. The reception fronts are 4mm thick.
There is a curved and straight DDA compliant module in the wood finish versions only.
We source this desk from Italy and it is normally available on a four week delivery period,
although we have been able to improve on this depending on the stock situation.
