There are two options the standard Top Rax shelving is 2000mm high and 900m wide and is available in two depth options   328mm and 478mm This shelving is suitable for commercial and industrial use with a maximum loading of 160khs. The shelves are adjustable by 50mm. Top Rax is bolt free and is very easily assembled without the need for any tools. Top Rax long span shelving is available in 1800mm widths and is suitable for the storage of extra large items, in addition the long span shelving can be supplied with either chipboard shelves or galvanised steel shelves. We have extended our range of glass display cabinets to include the MPC and GPC ranges. These glass showcases are available at an excellent price and come assembled, with the exception of the internal glass shelves. These cabinets are manufactured in Germany and held in stock in the UK for a 5-7 day delivery. The frame is ¼ round 25mm profiled and is available in black or silver epc. The exterior glass is tempered safety glass. Each cabinets is has 20W halogen lighting incorporated within it. Hinged doors are lockable. Simple Filing Systems
Traditionally in the UK we can split types of filing into three very simple systems and this seems to cope with the huge amount of files that we tend to create
Shelf filing
Files sit on the shelf in a cabinet more often than not in A4 or foolscap lever arch binders and lever arch files. If the files are unable to sit on the shelf then we recommend a slotted shelf with dividers for other files a simple plain wooden or metal shelf is sufficient.
Vertical or Suspended filing
These are the files that are used in a filing cabinet and can be A4 or Foolscap, they are also suspended on pull out filing frames within tambour cupboards. Most good filing cabinets and pull out frames will support both A4 and foolscap although you should always ask the question before making a purchase
Lateral filing
In the UK this is filing where the papers are filed sideways on, often with a manilla inner file leaving the lateral file holder in a permanent position. These files hang off a lateral filing frame or cradle, or from a lateral shelf. Confusion arises over US terminology for a lateral filing cabinet which we sometimes call a side filer which houses vertical files.
