A major office furniture manufacturer based in Austria where they have been the market leader for the last 30 years. The Company was originally founded in 1790 but did not start making office furniture until 1951. In the 80’s the Company began its international expansion with the opening of a showroom in London and Moscow. In 1989 Bene moved to a new factory in Waidhofen, where it still is and occupies around 40,00 square meters of production space. From the mid 90’s Bene began its international expansion into Central and Eastern Europe and began a joint venture with Nowystyl in Poland. In 2006 Bene achieved ISO 9001 Quality assurance standard and ISO 14001 Environmental standards for the manufacture of office furnmiture.
