The business was founded by Colin Mustoe in Accrington Lancashire and who remains with the Company as chairman. His son Robert Mustoe is Managing Director. The group includes Allermuir the Blackburn based manufacturer of contract furniture and Toransen who provide fast track entry level office furniture. Possibly the UK’s biggest office furniture manufacturer the combined turnover in 2007 was over £88 million. Senators UK manufacturing base is in Accrington and main showroom in Euston London. Expanding internationally Senator now has a physical presence in Dubai, Holland and manufacturing capability in Ohio. Senator’s main manufacturing Landmark ranges from Senator include the Intrigue range of system furniture, The Enigma executive chair, Harley Axis folding tables, Karma reception seating and Accolade Executive furniture.
