The Newton chair from Orangebox

The Newton chair is the latest office chair from seating UK seating manufacture Orangebox. This chair is aimed at the educational sector and is deigned to encourage active sitting among students; that is to sit back when listening and to lean forward when working. The seat slide and integral footrest support this movement and permit a better posture during classwork. Orangebox worked with ergonomist Jim Taylour who specialises in the relationship between ergonomics and children’s health. The Newton chair is available in 5 standard colours Royal Blue, Light Blue, Primary Red, Dark grey and Light Grey. The Newton chair is the first of a number of products the Company is providing aimed at ergonomics in the classroom
