We have at last taken occupancy of our new offices at Westpark in Wellington, Somerset. We designed and managed the fit out of the building ourselves and took control of all aspects including air conditioning, electrics, dry lining, plumbing and partitioning. The first floor open plan area houses the design and sales team with executive offices for Helen and myself.
The most striking aspect are the goldfish graphics on two runs of storage wall supplied by James Tobias, which will house our design library. The goldfish emerging from the computer screen represents our journey from our "virtual" world at Chelston where much of our activity centred around internet sales to a Company that provides a total interior solution including interior design, fit out and relocation. All our sub contractors for this project were based in the south west giving us a good foundation to work with them on future projects within this locality. The office furniture selected for our own use is Astro Arche in the open plan are and Arkitek for my office and the meeting room with Elios meeting room chairs. The break out space has a bespoke bar unit and bar stools from Cafe Reality.
The ground floor will be furnished over the next few weeks and will be a dedicated showroom. This is the third time we have moved the Company in the six years we have been trading, this new environment will give us greater opportunity to offer a complete package on design led projects in the south. Our office and contract furniture business will continue to develop across the UK and Europe bringing together our core principles of value and choice.
