The introduction of laptops has seen a new way in which office workers carry out their work, whether it be in the office at their office desk or whilst on the train. Tablets are the latest craze when it comes to using computers as more and more people are choosing to use them not just for work, but for pleasure as well. The problem with these computers is that they can be quite hard to use.
For example the way you have to use these, make sure that you have to use one of your hands to hold the tablet, leaving only one hand to type. Also when using these at an office desk, the tablet is normally placed flat to the table meaning that you have to hunch over the desk in an non ergonomic position. This over time can cause back and spine problems. There is a seat that plans to change the way that we use our iPads and other tablets and it has been brought to the market by Elite Home Theatre Seating. The recliner features a Luxa 2 H4 IPad holder that secures the computer firmly with 6 rubber pins, this means that you can wield the iPad with both hands free.
The recliner itself is motorized and allows for easy reclining movement. The chair can then swivel and pivot 360 degrees and the iPad itself can be rotated vertically or horizontally and can be positioned even flat like a table. Company founder Bobby Bala explains about the iPads invention. "The iPad is a user friendly, relaxing tool that allows you to complete tasks in a fun, efficient, and enjoyable way. The one drawback however, is that it can be a bit difficult to find the optimum ergonomic position when using it, especially since one hand is usually required to hold it. We wanted to enhance the iPad experience by increasing the comfort level of the user. Our testing indicates this increases the level of interaction and escapism with the device.
