Mail a Doc contacted Office Reality as they were moving into a new space within their existing unit and warehouse facility and wanted a contemporary furniture solution to reflect their professional practice and company brand.
Mail a Doc is a printing company that uses advanced technology and machinery to organise and manage their clients’ printing and postal requirements.
The workstations within the main office needed to be situated around a U – shaped kitchen island unit which was designed for clients and staff to use as break-out area portraying a homely feel within an open office. The sales team of six had to be located in one area so the obvious solution was the Avalon bench system.
By introducing Avalon desk high pedestals and Avalon Tower pedestals we managed to break up the bench system which gave each user storage and more of a defined working area. This worked really well acoustically as each storage unit together with the screens acted as a barrier preventing office noise pollution from travelling to the next occupant.
The accounts team also were suited to this style of bench system as they too worked collaboratively and privately again making use of the storage space that the pedestals and top boxes gave them. We supplied matching Avalon furniture too within the boardroom and installed power modules with the tabletop at the time of installation.
The soft seating was bespoke and upholstered in Cheiftan Just Colour vinyl to a matching red and grey which coincides with the Mail a Doc logo. We supplied Reactive Ergo Chair with a flexible back and headrest which is currently a popular chair due to the design and choice of colours it is available.
The project was a success as we managed to represent Mail a Doc core values by introducing the contemporary yet highly functional furniture
