Reception Seating

Reception seating can take many forms and there are numerous seating solutions available to meet the needs of your visitors and commercial environment. You may be thinking about the impression, impact or comfort the seating will give to your visitors and staff? One of the most practical and popular ranges of reception seating is the black leather or faux leather sofas and single seaters. Models such as the Situ or Corsica have been influenced by the long-favored Le Corbusier sofa, offering a simplistic yet stylish cushioned sofa within a solid structured chrome frame. Injecting colour or inspiring fabric materials to your welcome zone can also be achieved by introducing fabric or vinyl sofas and tub chairs. We can assist your design making process by sending fabric or vinyl samples out, so you can check them against any corporate colours or branding material.

Occasional seating or waiting room chairs

Occasional seating covers a range of single chairs which you will often see in reception areas or waiting rooms. These chairs can easily be moved around and are often stackable if necessary. One of our bestselling occasional chairs is the Stakka conference chair, which is available in range of fabrics and vinyls, in chrome or black frame. It’s also very good value, coming in at under £35.00 ex vat. Single occasional chairs often are built on wooden or metal framework. The Sark designer chairs also ticks the boxes, as it has button detail on the fabric and the wooden legs are on trend, seamlessly blending into various environments.

Wooden framed chairs and sofas

The wooden framed chairs provide a good degree of support and in some cases also forms armrests for the user. These types of chairs can be found a large majority of waiting rooms, such as doctor surgeries, dentist surgeries, schools, colleges and universities. Comfort is of course a main factor and feature within the healthcare industry, and our wooden framed chairs generally offer padded upholstery to support this.

Metal framed chairs and sofas

Metal framed chairs work well in high traffic areas such as universities or busy healthcare or hospital zones. They are generally similar to the wooden framed chairs in design, however the metal frames can allow for heavy-duty use.

Leather sofas

Leather sofas offer a good level of style and comfort and are also very easy to maintain. Some ranges have previously taken inspiration from design classics such as the Le Corbuiser and Florence Knoll, both simplistic, minimal designs which have stood the test of time. The design classics are usually available in black and are housed within a sturdy chrome metal frame. Most of these sofas are in fact ‘leather faced’ which means the part that you sit on or the front material, is leather, whereas the sides and back are a matching synthetic leather.

Fabric sofas

Choosing a fabric sofa will give you more options to make the right impression, as on most listings you can select from 100’s of commercially graded fabrics to suit your needs. We are partnered with the well know commercial fabric supplier Camira, who supply and create fabric for many industries such as transport, healthcare, education, and hospitality.

Modular Sofas

Modular sofas allow creativity when designing a seating layout, as they can be placed continuously to fit the space in question. Most ranges will have a straight section and a curved or corner unit, which allows the modular aspect to continue from different angles. Some of the options have conjoining coffee tables that match the design, without interrupting the flow of the units.

Stools and cubes

Stools and cubes can be transported easily, making them perfect for reception areas where a level of movement is required. Most of our options are bespoke, allowing you to customise them to match the upholstery and colour you desire.
