Humans have been aware of the healing power of their breath for millennia. Through the centuries we've developed a vast array of breathing practices, all designed to bring about physical and emotional well-being and connect with our deeper selves. As it happens, in today's modern world, we have somehow forgotten and neglected the healing mechanism we all have right under our noses. We can use breathwork to fully infuse the body with oxygen, helping us to feel energised and recharging our own depleted systems instantly boosting our wellbeing.
On average we take around 20,000 breaths a day, yet many of these inhales and exhales, along with the healing properties of breathwork, can go unnoticed. By simply bringing awareness to our breath we can help and improve our conscious breath practice which can have a positive impact on our well-being. There are many techniques to explore and an infinite number of breathing exercises to practice. A good place to start is exploring the many different ways in which we breathe and how this has an impact on our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Please read more below on the breathing practice Transformational Breath®, Aimee Hartley, a well known qualified breathing coach, and corporate wellbeing packages.
