With a 25mm thick desktop that includes a melamine Structurex coating, it provides the desk a level of surface protection against accidental damage. 

The top access function provides an easier way to channel your wires from your PC to your desktop area without clutter and thus increasing your workspace and space efficiency. The optional electrification unit will also aid functionality by providing either an RJ45 Ethernet Port, 2x USB's, 1x HDMI or 3x additional power sockets.
